“This is not a standard hydrotherapy session. It is a comprehensive, clinically led rehabilitation appointment, tailored to support your dog at every stage of recovery.â€
£50.00
At Willows Hydrotherapy, every session is delivered as a fully integrated rehabilitation appointment, not a menu of add-ons.
Each session may include a combination of:
HydrotherapyÂ
Class 4B Companion Animal Laser Therapy
PEMF Therapy
Therapeutic Ultrasound
Massage Therapy
Treatment selection is based entirely on your dog’s clinical presentation and rehabilitation goals, not on cost. We do not charge separately for individual modalities within the session.
Your dog may not receive every therapy at every appointment. Treatments are selected according to need and may change from one session to the next depending on how your dog presents that particular day.
Clinical Standards & Communication
We keep detailed clinical notes for every patient and closely monitor measurable progress over time.
Where appropriate, we share updates and progress reports with your referring veterinary surgeon and any other professionals involved in your dog’s care to ensure a collaborative, joined up approach to rehabilitation.
Our team is qualified to a high standard, with each therapist bringing their own specialist area of expertise. Collectively, we have over 20 years of experience in canine rehabilitation and clinical practice.
This integrated, adaptable approach allows us to:
Adjust treatment plans as your dog progresses
Manage flare-ups safely and effectively
Support multiple body systems within one structured session
Focus on long-term outcomes rather than single-modality treatment
Session fee: £55.00
Treatment is normally claimable through your pet insurance, please check your cover. We are always happy to assist with submitting insurance claims. We can not deal with direct claims unfortunately.

Standalone Class 4B Laser Therapy Sessions
Laser therapy works on a cumulative basis. This means its effects build over a series of treatments.
When beginning a new treatment plan, particularly for acute injuries, inflammation, neurological conditions or post-operative recovery. We often administer a loading dose phase. This involves delivering laser therapy closer together initially to stimulate cellular activity, reduce inflammation and accelerate tissue repair more effectively.
Spacing sessions too far apart at the beginning can slow progress, which is why frequency is important during this stage.
For this reason, we offer standalone laser appointments alongside our full rehabilitation sessions.
These appointments are shorter and focused purely on delivering the required therapeutic dose. They are ideal for:
Acute injuries
Post-operative recovery
Inflammatory flare-ups
Wound healing
Neurological conditions
Loading-dose phases within a wider rehabilitation plan
Treatment time is determined by clinical need, treatment area size and required joule dosage — not by a fixed protocol.
All sessions are delivered using our Class 4B Companion Animal Laser, with dosing calculated specifically for your dog.
